Engagement Session at Grafton State Park!
So WHY do we offer an Engagement Session with all of our Wedding Packages? Primarily… so you can become not only comfortable with a camera in front of you, BUT also for the comfortability, expectations and rapport found between your Professional Photographer and yourselves. Getting to know your Photographer and who they are and how they shoot is fundamental to not only your day, but a natural human connection in general. The same could be said for myself, as a Professional Wedding Photographer.
Knowing my Couples (inside and out), beyond their names, their individual personalities and outward appearances is something that I have prided myself on for decades. Doing so with sincerity and compassion has been why I find it so easy to bring out the best in anyone. Your true self is who I look for always!
Engagement Sessions of Love and Laughter.
This is the pinnacle of what I do as a Professional. You have to know someone as well as you can before you can photograph them. This isn’t some commercial fashion shoot, or professional marketing campaign. I am not selling a look or a pose or a product. This is your very special and highly memorable Wedding Day. A day that will mean something important to you and nearly all Newlywed Couples throughout their lives.
Building up your experiences and general knowledge with your Professional Photographer during your Engagement Session is important. BUT, it is also incredibly fun. Together we will fill the evening with laughter, love and creative expressions, and meaningful moments. My Couples get the opportunity to really love and appreciate our time spent together. When it is all over…. Couples always say to me how nervous they were but came away with a feeling of satisfaction and positive energy going into their wedding day. Those “ camera nerves” seem to have melted away. Personally and Professionally, it fills me with such joy and heartfelt appreciation when that happens.
Romantic Engagement Session
Finally, If you happen to be so fortunate and you know how to be yourself “at your best” in front of any camera. Then all of the above may not apply to you. The Good News is beyond getting that “Professional Photography Experience” before your Wedding Day, having an Engagement Session can still be important to you. The Photos from any Engagement Session can be used as Save the Date Mailers, Wedding Invitations, Table Centerpieces, Custom Wedding Guest Book uses, or even just as general Wedding Decor. I’ve even seen Couples have these sessions done simply because they’d like to have something special to share and display as personal art in their own homes.
A Family Engagement Session
So, the “WHY” you are doing your Engagement Session with us is completely up to you. Do it for your growing family, your love for each other, for the Professional Experience or even just for your Save The Dates. Whatever that reason is….
