I will be brutally honest, as I am a brutally honest wedding photographer.
Perfection at a wedding (or a perfect wedding) is almost unobtainable. Typically there are so many things that can alter a weddings mood and atmosphere such as weather, guests reactions, right down to a vendors attitude throughout the day. And these factors can have a very positive or even negative effect. From there, perfection of a wedding day of course is everyone's ultimate goal. As a vendor, if we can help create the best day for 1 amazing couple, we've done our job with passion and love.
Well, you can imagine the thoughts i had shuffling though my brain, when i had injured myself on a bicycle accident a day before Heather and Rick's Wedding day (breaking my wrist severely and leg.). I was beside myself. To make a long story short, my father was able to cover for my injuries as was Ceara Poulin, a great friend and fellow pro photog. I was able to (stop in and) be there for their first look, family and bridal formalities, from there my father and Ceara took over. Because of the small part i played and larger parts my father and Ceara played, I believe we came as close to perfection as we ever have at a wedding. Because, when I saw the results of their day captured on digital film, I was speechless and bursting with joy and love for both Heather, Rick and their entire family.
As you look below you will see some pretty perfect moments, and stunning fun loving imagery.
A big thanks go out to Pat's Barn in Schenectady, NY. Mike Garassi from Music Man Entertainment, and Nicole's Catering for providing the great food.
Now without further ado, our teaser for Heather and Rick Grebe's awesome day, finished off to perfection. Heather and Rick... We love you, had a real blast and thank everyone who helped to make these moments extra special.
