Faith and Joshua's Wedding at The Crooked Lake House, Averill Park Dec. 10th, 2016

When I was in College, I used to frequent The Crooked Lake House. At the time, it was during the Swing/ Ballroom Dance revival... where big bands became "a thing" again. It meant so much to me to be able to patron such an historic place, the mood, ambiance and emotional connection I had at the time was and always will be memorable. So, to be asked to come back by Faith and her (now) husband Josh to capture their wedding day, well, those emotions came flooding back.

What an amazing day with the Toomey and Skibbee families! As photographers, its easy to gloss over the routine of any wedding or event. But we don't. We reval in moments like these. Moments especially designed to allow everyone to connect on an emotional level.

Well all I have to say is Thank You to the crew at Old Daley's Crooked Lake House for making everything flow well. Thanks to TS Ensemble for playing us some rocking Band riffs. But of course, THANK YOU to you Faith and Josh for asking my father and I to come back to the place that meant so much to me as a young man. We've had a few weddings this year at the Crooked Lake House, but for some reason.... this one felt extra special. Please enjoy your teaser! Congrats Again!
