Christine and Ben's Wedding, August 20th, 2016- Christ the King Church- Proctors - Key Hall

Usually when I type up these blog teaser's I write a long "diary entry" sometimes. At least thats how it looks to me. But this time I will keep it short and sweet and let these amazing moments speak for themselves.  Why? Because I think Christine and Ben will really know how much we enjoyed having them with us by seeing what we made for them!! I know it!

A huge thanks goes out to all the "cast and crew" at Proctors and Key Hall.... you guys were great to work with. An even bigger thanks though goes out to Christine and Ben, and your entire family and friends (obviously including your sweet bridal party). Every single individual went the extra mile to really help us create and capture truly epic moments.

To Metro Music, Patrick.... Thank you for keeping things rolling and keeping your peeps on the dance floor. Awesome. Christine and Ben.... Enjoy!! If you love these.... your going to adore the rest.

Meghan and Will's Wedding, August 13th, 2016 - Revolution Hall, Troy, NY

Its like a really good recipe. A dash of humor, a sprinkle of beauty and a whole lot of love and you have Meghan and Will's Wedding described in one powerful sentence! Now that is a recipe for perfection, not to mention amazing moments created and captured!!

As a father and son photography team we always try to look for the extraordinary in the every wedding. In this one, we didn't have to look too hard. Meghan and Will have such a great connection as do their families that it was easy peasy lemon squeezie (Yes I said it) to bring out the best in everyone.

The Ceremony was at the stunning St. Pius X Church in Loudenville and the reception at the Industrial and fashionable Revolution Hall at Brown's Brewery in Troy N.Y. Great times thanks to all the staff at Rev Hall, Cool Cats Entertainment for DJing the night away (Thanks Nick). But of course a HUGE thank you to Meghan and Will, a couple I will love and remember forever! You made us a happy team of Photogs!!

Here is your teaser.

Miriam and Steve's Wedding Teaser August 6th, 2016

Here is a short personal story that ties into Miriam and Steve's Wedding. Real quick. When I was in my late teens to early twenties I was an amateur ballroom dancer as well as dance instructor. Those early years even up to these days now are filled with listening to pre and post WWII big band music, and hopefully living a life thats fulfilling and respectful. To me these are all the qualities of a generation long since past or fading into memory. So when I met Miriam and Steve and they told me they were having a "Retro" Wedding with amazing music (both oldies and new stuff), family oriented reception, unique food and laid back atmosphere, I wanted to beg to do their wedding. Luckily begging wasn't needed as we all felt keen on making this day extra special, and I was honored to be apart of it. And... simply put, as a guest you would experience something you just wouldn't normally experience at a "standard" wedding.

Miriam and Steve, you both made capturing and creating memories for you both a real treat for me (my father included). Watching you guys fall in love all over again, priceless.

As a side note, Kudos to you Miriam for leaping over into the back seat of that old car (in your amazing wedding gown) to get one amazing shot for us. Its not in this teaser, but it will be in your collection as it is one of my personal favorites that will be shown directly from me to you. Enjoy the teaser guys!!

Katie and Ken Wedding, July 16th, 2016/ Birch Hill Catering, Hudson, NY

Stay with me now...

I never thought I'd eventually be photographing my father's co-workers (from 30 years ago) daughters wedding. I know, big deal right? Wrong. Because who would have thought my father and I would have the sincere pleasure of photographing Katie and Ken's wedding at birch hill and actually know of the bride's parents before actually getting to know of her. Its quite a small world and we felt like we've come full circle. And that is very much so a big deal and a great thing to boot.

Kati and Ken, Here is your teaser. We wanted to say that we couldn't have met a funnier, nicer and "crazier" family such as yours. You guys know how to have fun! And that is very much a compliment. It was difficult choosing the selection of photos for your wedding to tease primarily because there were so many good ones. In the end we chose moments that you can appreciate, cry over, laugh and perhaps giggle a bit.

Thank you to you both Kati and Ken. Thanks to your entire family as we were really blessed to be able to photograph your wedding after knowing of your family for over 30 years!! How cool!!

Chelsea and Robert Wedding July 9th, 2016- Longfellows, Saratoga, NY

Last weekend we had the pleasure of photographing Chelsea and Robert in their fun and stunningly amazing Wedding Day. Great dancing, family and friends and drinks were par for the course that day with incredibly memorable and lovable moments. Plus, both Chelsea and Robert and their entire families have such an awesome sense of humor, how could it not be epic?  We are so proud of them and everyone who attended.

Thanks go out to Longfellows staff you all were amazing, always stylish! Also a thank you shout out to John from the Piano Man DJ and Entertainment. He kept us moving on that dance floor. It might have rained outside for nearly the entire day.... but that didn't stop any of us!

Lets do it!!

Marissa and Nate Wedding, July 1st, 2016- Crooked Lake House Old Daley Inn

We've had the distinct honor of photographing one of our cousin's, (Marissa), Wedding just a week ago at the classy and classical Crooked Lake House of the Old Daley Inn. We've captured a few family weddings before... but never to the energy level and overall positivity that we've seen and felt from this couple, bridal party and families. The overwhelming surge of positive vibes flowed throughout the day and into the night like an endless stream filled with love. It sounds sappy, but frankly, you had to be there to see it!! It was awe inspiring!

There is so much love between Nate and Marissa, its impossible to ever find any sort of flaw, disagreement or imperfection in their connection and compassion for one another. They, like their families, were/ are amazing.

I'd like to thank once again Vinny and Paul at Cool Cats for bringing down the house with rocking music. Also I'd like to extend a thank you out to the Staff at the Crooked Lake House by Old Daley Inn, they were right on top of the entire event and made some darn good food too.

Finally I'd like to thank you Nate, Marissa your entire family and bridal party for choosing us. You could have chosen any one of a million photographers out there, but you took a chance on us. You placed your faith and love in us and what we do. And that is humbling beyond words. Because of you, we placed our love and passion into your night as well... capturing moments that can never be replicated, ever!!

We love you! We thank you! Now lets get to your teaser!!!

Kara and Andy Rogers Wedding Teaser, Appel Inn, Altamont, NY June 12, 2016

Where do I start. There is so much to say about Kara and Andy. I could write an entire book on our journey together. I say "our" because they included my father and I in nearly every step of their lives together since we meet. We had a wonderful Engagement session at the Crossings in Colonie on a cold, and windy day. They invited us to bear witness and photograph their "secret" first wedding (in February), to which we were overwhelmingly grateful. Then invited us to their second wedding at the Appel Inn to once more join in celebrating and photographing their event.

It has been one of the few times in our lives where we didn't feel like vendors, or just photographers, but we felt like family. Kara and Andy constantly wanted to make sure WE were ok. "Did we get enough food? You had a long day, how are you holding up?" ...etc. The entire day didn't feel like work. Yes we were tired, but none of that mattered and by the end of the night I told my father "I could photograph a whole other wedding just like this, right now, another 10 hours!" It didn't feel like work, at all. We had gotten our "second wind."

So there are a lot of thank you's to send out to people, family and friends. But most importantly... I want to thank Kara and Andy's Parents for raising such incredibly strong, super positive, and overly caring individuals. Kara and Andy, it has been more than a privilege to photograph your Wedding(s), it has been one of the greatest of lifes awards for us just to be there and observe.

Finally, Kara and Andy, there is a reason why everyone surrounds you with such love, support and positivity. Its because you started it all and surrounded us with the same values as well. We are better persons and photographers because of you.

My father and I love you deeply and no words can equally express that, ever. With that in mind, here.... is your teaser, enjoy.

Jordan and Anthony Sampogna Wedding, Otesaga Resort, Cooperstown June 11, 2016

Every once in a while you get the chance to meet a bridal couple who have just 2 amazing families and equally great friends that support them in every single way. With that, I have to say their was no greater feeling in the world to see that with the Nichols and Sampogna ("G" is silent) family. Both sides are funny and humorous, they are kind, caring and considerate to everyone, and of course "smart asses" in every respectful sense of the word. Now you might be in shock with us for saying that, but I have a feeling the Sampogna family knows what I mean. And that is why we love everyone of them, especially Jordan and Anthony. They are perfect together, again like a few other couples we've meet... they play off each others strengths and weaknesses perfectly.

So it brings me great pleasure to welcome Jordan and Anthony to their slightly delayed (sorry been so busy), yet stunning wedding teaser. My father and I sincerely loved working with you all, it was a true team effort on everyone's part and I think you'll love it all.

Finally thank you to Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown for helping us create some amazing vista's and portraits. Of course thank you as well to Laurie Laing for makeup and hair and Intrastate Entertainment (Eric) for Djing the night away!!

Laura and Tom Schuler Wedding Teaser, June 4th, 2016, Wolferts Roost

Its been a little while since we last teased a Wedding, so here we present Laura and Tom's Wedding. We had so much fun with their entire family. Laura was stunning. Tom, handsome.

So being a photographer who is always privileged to photograph amazing couples. These two didn't disappoint. With the Ceremony at the St. Mary's Church in Coxsackie, NY, and formalities done at their hometown farm, then reception at Wolferts Roost, we had a blast. Proud to be apart of their family as well as their day.

So without further ado... your teaser Laura and Tom. Thanks You! We Love you!!
