Mallory and Reeve Chilton Wedding May 28th, 2016 Sneak Peak

We had the pleasure of photographing this Vermont couple's engagement session last year right in the beautiful town of Arlington (one of my favorite towns in all of Vermont, personally), by a strikingly beautiful covered bridge. Once we started shooting, we realized quickly two things.

One, they were perfect together... contrasting and complimenting each other so well. Second, it was apparent after the session that this wedding was going to be special, extra special, because of that strong bond and love they have for one another. They seem to trust each other wholly  and completely. They communicate openly and have a very genuine personality. So you can imagine how lucky we felt as photographers to shoot their wedding at the Saratoga Elks Lodge just outside Saratoga into Wilton.

Come the day of the wedding, it was nearly a "perfect" day outside... Sunny, 90 degrees, Very Humid, and HOT!! So hot and so sunny in fact that it would have turned even the best couple in the world into a pile of frowny faces. BUT... not so for Mallory and Reeve. They (as well as their amazing bridal party) soldiered through the day without a hitch or loss of a smile. Everyone contributed and did so with a calm cool demeanor. We loved it!!

So here is our teaser for Mallory and Reeve and family. One great couple, we were proud to be there for. Thank You Mallory and Reeve. We appreciate it.

Kati Marble and Mike Koblensky Wedding, May 20th, 2016 Teaser

Last Friday Photo Phrame Photography (thats us) had the honor of photographing Kati and Mike's Wedding at the beautiful Fairways of Halfmoon in Mechanicville, New York.  What an amazing family. It seemed more like play than actual work, and that is always a good thing. It means everything is flowing like water and going better than anticipated. I just can't talk enough about Kati and Mike in general, they are the perfect couple, complimenting each other so well, its an uncanny family value now days.

So here we go. Here are a few moments I think everyone will love. Why? Because I know we love them, a lot. And the best part is, these photos are only a tiny sample of some of the most amazing moments we've had the pleasure of capturing digitally. Let's take a look at the magic.

A big thanks to The Fairways of Halfmoon, the Marble and Koblensky Family and all of the guests who made it a magnificent night!

"Back in the Gown" Fashion Shoot Spring 2016

So I had this idea. Create a Bridal Fashion Shoot but with a twist; We use real brides that we've photographed before and allow them to integrate a lot of their ideas with my own.  A true and sincere collaboration between artist and subject. They aren't models, (although they certainly could be), but what they bring to the table is their own individual life experiences and passions for what they do and who they are.

Thats what my goal was, to give these Brides a chance to feel just as beautiful as they did on their Wedding Day inside and out. But this time, we had gotten to see more than just another young lady in a pretty gown, but we got to see their personalities and who they are shine through.

Being up in Lake George for the shoot was an adventure in itself as we all faced very challenging weather. 30+ mph winds, 45 degree temperatures and potential rain. It was probably one of the most challenging shoots I've ever had because all of it was outdoors and right by the Lake. Even after all of those obstacles to hurdle over, I had truly some of the most motivated, confident and gutsy Brides I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

With this shoot we collaborated with the amazing makeup artist Rachel from Color Me Gorgeous and Ashley Smith for Hair at https://www.facebook.com/ashley.smith.9655. Without these ladies creating some real magic, we couldn't have seen our ideas come to life. Diane's Floral Designs also donated their amazing, super creative fresh flower and brooch bouquets which added a spark of color and flair to the scene.

We worked closely with Christine Roberts whom procured us a great space for preparation at Fort William Henry's and Conference Center at http://www.fortwilliamhenry.com/. She is one of the most hospitable and caring individuals I know.

We also connected with Terry from "MuscleFlow Terry" at https://www.facebook.com/terry.muscleflow. He helped us coordinate certain "fight scenes" and some fun posing scenarios.  Also Advantage Transit Group for the epic sized 20 passenger Part Bus they provided for us at www.albanycarservice.com.

Finally I'd like to thank Becky Dodard for helping the entire crew stay coordinated and for also capturing some great moments as second and third shooter. Thanks to Justin Shannon (Brenda's Cool Husband) for helping us lug around our equipment and everyone's props as well as coming up with some great ideas for shots. And last but never least, my father who helped me coordinate my thoughts and ideas (pre-shoot) as well as helping out second shooting.

On a personal level, I wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for helping to make this shoot/ dream come true. It was a real collaboration of hearts and minds. Now I can cross this off my photographic bucket list as well as prepare for yet another adventurous "Back in the Gown" Session perhaps for the fall or next Spring.  If your interested in learning more about this shoot please contact us at ph3photography@gmail.com or head to our website www.ph3pix.com.

Without further ado Brenda and Amanda (my Epic Brides)... Your full teaser!!

Darlene and Ivory White's Wedding at Westbury Manor, Long Island, NY April 29, 2016

When a couple asks us to travel any place, we usually ask the obvious questions, where, and how far?

In this case, when Darlene and Ivory told us it was going to be at the beautiful Westbury Manor on Long Island, NY. We jumped at the chance, despite never even shooting there before. But to my father and I,  what was even more exciting was watching Darlene and Ivory finally "taking the plunge ." Why? Because we had the privilege of photographing these two on an engagement session in Brooklyn. Even on that day, which was rainy, cold, windy, gloomy (you name it, and it was so), these 2 shined brighter than I have ever seen a couple shine before. Even in the face of weather related adversity, not to mention trying to find a parking spot to get out and shoot, they excelled at making the session a beautiful experience for themselves as well as for us. They are an amazing couple and I believe these wedding photographs prove that 110%.  So here is our teaser to one great couple. 2 people I was proud and honored to get to know and be there for. Enjoy.

An Engagement Session in Saratoga's Congress Park, Nate and Marissa

What can I say about these two crazy love birds!? They are fun and loving.... Plus one heck of a "fun loving" couple. We spent the day creating some truly beautiful moments that can only fit their high energy positivity. Congress Park in Saratoga was amazing, and, I have a feeling Nate and Marissa's Wedding will be even better! Check out their session below.

An Engagement Adventure in Brooklyn, NY

So we had the pleasure and opportunity to capture a wonderful couple's engagement session down in NYC; Darlene and Ivory.

Living in Upstate, NY as an exclusive wedding photographer is a dream come true. Having the ability to head down into NYC (Brooklyn area) to create any form of photography is why we was born to do what we do. Yet another dream come true. So, as we drove down passing through blue skies and beautiful weather, it started becoming more overcast and windy as we got closer. By the time we arrived, it was raining heavily, fairly cold and quite windy.

Once we got out of the car, it was time to get creative and build a collection of images Darlene and Ivory could be proud of. Our game plan was simple. We make as many of these moments look and feel as "warm" "sunny" and "inviting" as possible. We knew it would be a challenge, but, professionally speaking... We'd rather be challenged than going into a routine session. If you look below, we believe we've created a perfect collection.

We can't thank Darlene and Ivory (and their whole family) enough for having faith in us, always smiling, keeping it humorous, and most importantly being such amazing troopers in what actually was, no doubt, a difficult time have ones picture taken.

You Rock!

Julie Comley and Kevin Roy Wedding March 12, 2016 Mohawk River Country Club

Generally speaking, its a rarity that we see a couple that are as heartfelt and loved as Julie and Kevin by all of their family and friends. We had the honor of photographing their rehearsal dinner the night before and was struck immediately by the out pouring of love and respect both received. It was something to really behold and experience first hand.

When we think of Julie and Kevin as a couple and as individuals we think of "family". The reasoning is simple, its because they both make you feel welcomed, respected, and part of something greater. They make you feel like family and not like "an outsider" or "just another Wedding Photographer." We loved it.

For that, and on behalf of my father and myself. We thank you Julie and Kevin... and Family. We can tell you had a blast at your wedding, and ... we honestly did as well. Below you will see some of those amazing moments captured, and the only thing we can say is... there is so much more to see coming soon.

Thank you again Julie, Kevin, the rocking bridal party (you guys and girls were great sports). The parents of Julie and Kevin, thank you; as well as the Mohawk River Country Club for hosting a wonderful wedding reception and St. John's the Evangelist Church in Schenectady for the blessed Ceremony.  Also Thank you Paul Malo for rocking the house with your Musical Skillz.

Without further ado.... your teaser!! Enjoy

Samantha and Robert Wedding at the Century House Feb 29th, 2016

As my father and  I take on one wedding at a time this late winter/ early spring year, we've been finding so many unique flairs and touches to a wedding day. In regards to Samantha and Robert, their wedding was on leap year, a Monday. Unique. Their theme was vintage 20's and 30's bouquets, table pieces, as well as accessories such as jewelry, shoes, you name it! Also unique! It was amazing.

As a couple, Sam and Robert march to a different drum beat. Watching them, dance, and love each other was exhilarating to capture. We felt that these are the type of weddings we'd like to capture everyday. Their personalities both individually, and together is something that felt refreshing and new. Even their families and friends made it an even better day.

We are so proud of you Samantha and Robert. We hope this small teaser can get you through these next few weeks as we finalize your collection. Thank you for allowing us to be there for you both.

Also... a huge thanks to The crew and staff at the Century House in Latham, NY. You are always hospitable, and great to work with. What teamwork!

Sydney and Brian Wedding at the Century House, Latham, NY, Feb. 13th 2016

For our second wedding of the year... it looked like everything was turning out perfectly... warmer weather, clearing skies,... then a very wintry cold front came thru our area and brought with it blistering cold weather topping out at -27 degrees below zero. Of course this never makes for a fun, or easy wedding photography session outdoors. So we decided to stay warm, and for the most part... use The Century House's beautiful old world decor to our advantage.

With the ceremony in the Common Room and the Reception in the White Room of the C.H., we thought it was the perfect setting for Sydney and Brian's Winter Wedding. Our first time capturing this amazing couple was nearly a year ago when they decided to have their Engagement session at their old High School. My father and I immediately knew there was something extra special about these 2.

So with that, here is a little teaser of Sydney and Brian's wedding day. What a truly wonderful time we had. So you see, we didn't need Valentines Day to "show the love." We created our own day for that. A big thanks to Leslie from The Century House and Saratoga Sound for keeping the jams going. Sydney and Brian... here is your teaser.
